Tim Preston is the founder and hockey director for the Bandits Hockey Club. Tim has profound love for hockey, paired with the fire to empower motivated athletes to grow into the best version of themselves. Tim encourages athletes to learn how to push past comfort zones, unlock new levels of confidence and enrich individual skills and attributes to advance the athletes to the next level. Full Potential is achieved through consistent steps in the right direction fuelled by internal and external motivation. Tim believes that a coach acts like a compass to an athletes journey and that success is measured by the complete development of the person, not just the results on the ice.

Carson’s coaching philosophy emphasizes not only the importance of being a skilled hockey player but also being a great person. He is passionate about guiding the next generation of players to achieve their goals, on and off the ice, inspiring them to grow both as athletes and individuals! Carsons dedication, experience, and passion for hockey inspire not only his players but also everyone around him. Carson is currently a head coach in the Bandits club and an assistant coach with the Langley Rivermen of the BCHL. Cason is an adored coach who connects with his players. He is fun but also demanding. Carson enjoys pushing his players in comprehension of the game and teaches with a smile on his face!

Coach Dryden has been coaching for over 5 years, spending 2 years as the Head Coach for the Valley West Giants and is now currently the head coach for the 2013 & 2015 @hpl_bandits teams! His coaching philosophy is “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard” Dryden is looking forward to creating an atmosphere where his players love coming to the rink, as he believes you play your best when you’re doing what you love and having fun! Dryden is a tactical coach who believes that system and structure is the foundation to great team hockey. He is devoted to helping his players and teams improve by using video recourses. Dryden is a fair and demanding coach!

Kyle brings 25 years of experience in high-level hockey as both a player and a coach. Kyle has a deep understanding of the game, coupled with a strong emphasis on leadership and development, makes Kyle a valuable member to the Bandits organization. Kyle's playing career includes five seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Medicine Hat Tigers, Kyle attended NHL training camps with the Anaheim Ducks and Florida Panthers. After his WHL career, Kyle played five seasons at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he also studied kinesiology. Transitioning into coaching, Kyle has continued to build on his extensive hockey background. Kyle's philosophy is grounded in communication, accountability, and fostering a positive team culture. Kyles experience, passion for the game, and commitment to developing players make me a strong asset to the Bandits Hockey Club this season.

Brad is in his first year of coaching after playing 10 years professionally in Europe. My coaching philosophy is that we all get better and learn something new every time we practice, for both players and coaches. "It’s not about how we start but how we finish!” Brad enjoyed a exceptional hockey career and is excited to giveback to the game by teaching and mentoring the next generation of skilled and talented hockey players. We are excited to welcome Brad into the Bandits club for next fall.

Manny is a former elite wide receiver for the BC Lions in the CFL. Manny built an exceptional carrier in the CFL and NFL. Manny is an athletic specimen who devoted his time and energy to helping the next generation of athletes become faster, more explosive and evasive. Manny works with the bandits as an online speed coach. His sessions are high energy and fun. The kids work hard and push themselves to achieve a higher level of athleticism.

Riley is a certified strength and conditioning coach who works with athletes in a verity of sports. Riley Isa gifted strength coach who understands the value of progression and repetition. Riley developed the long-term athletic development model as well as implements the training sessions. Riley has a high expectation level for players commitment to dryland training. He pushes the players hard in a fun and safe environment. All of the off-ice training sessions are structured and supervised with age appropriate drills and exercises for the Bandit's hockey club
